Action Network

Private forests like those owned and managed by Certified Tree Farmers account for well over half of the nation’s forest land.

The American Forest Foundation, parent organization of the American Tree Farm System, maintains a current list of legislative issues and action recommendations. As a Tree Farmer concerned about rules and regulations, property taxes, or other issues facing private landowners, you can help advance legislation that recognizes the many public benefits of active, sustainable management of private lands.
